About the role

The LGM Group, a specialist in project management and engineering for large-scale programs, now counts, 30 years after its creation, more than 1,500 employees across 5 continents.

Based in Montreal and Toronto, LGM North America, a subsidiary of the LGM Group, acts as a trusted partner for designers and operators of major industrial systems (rail, aerospace, naval, energy), providing expertise in Reliability, Systems Engineering, Integrated Logistics Support (ILS), Technical Documentation, Industrialization, and Project Management.

Passionate about both technical and human challenges, we participate in numerous major projects (notably in public transportation) that will have a significant impact on sustainable mobility in Canada.

To support our strong growth, we are seeking a Senior Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) Engineer. Your Responsibilities

  • Analyzing system maintenance requirements.
  • Performing maintainability analyses as defined in ILS management plans and in compliance with international standards, as well as implementing LSA (Logistics Support Analysis) methods.
  • Conducting associated LSA studies (obsolescence, Life Cycle Cost - LCC, Level of Repair Analysis - LORA, Reliability-Centered Maintenance - RCM, MTBF calculations, etc.).
  • Coordinating task distribution among junior engineers and reviewing deliverables as the technical reference.
  • Contributing to the establishment and consolidation of the system maintenance plan.
  • Developing and maintaining logistics databases.
  • Influencing system development and operation to achieve maintainability objectives.
  • Measuring and optimizing the consistency and performance of the support system.
  • Consolidating a preventive and corrective maintenance plan, including task time optimization and harmonization of maintenance intervals.

You will also be involved in other ILS engineering activities, notably technical documentation :

  • Identifying specific tools and drafting their specifications.
  • Writing analysis reports, maintenance plans, and manuals.
  • Preparing product/system user manuals.
  • Build strong client relationships and partnerships, while displaying LGM’s expertise.
  • Contribute to the improvement of practices and tools.

What We Offer

  • A variety of projects in highly stimulating sectors.
  • The best of both worlds: the support of a 1,500-employee group with a community of TECHPUB experts, and the agility of a dynamic SME in North America with a strong entrepreneurial culture.
  • A workplace where your ideas matter: we share a common goal, and all suggestions are welcome.
  • Competitive compensation, group insurance, and RRSP.
  • 4 weeks of vacation.

With at least 7 years of professional experience, you bring solid expertise to succeed in this role. Your experience has allowed you to develop key skills such as teamwork, problem-solving, flexibility, adaptability, effective communication, and initiative. Your knowledge and expertise will be valuable assets for our company.

  • Ability to interact with design offices, equipment manufacturers, logistics teams, and end users.
  • Joining a dynamic and multidisciplinary LGM team unafraid of tackling technical challenges.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to lead meetings and represent maintenance interests in a multi-disciplinary environment.
  • Ability to anticipate and project, to foresee potential issues.
  • Technical knowledge of systems and maintenance.
  • Analytical mindset to understand client needs, constraints, and challenges.
  • Eligibility for security clearance to work on defense-related projects.
  • Excellent communication skills (French and English).
