He/she also performs other general duties as requested by the Clinical Leader or delegate to support the work of the team members involved in direct patient care. These duties may include, but are not limited to: maintenance of equipment and furnishings, ordering of supplies, preparing operatories for dental procedures, water testing, flushing water lines, transporting specimens to the lab and general tidying and upkeep of operatories, the waiting room, and emergency kits.Hours of Work Hours of work should be Monday -Friday 0800-1600Your Qualifications
Minimum grade 12 or GED, required. Previous experience in a health care setting, an asset. Ability to organize, and prioritize, maintains the functioning of the unit in an organized, safe and clean manner. Good communication skills required. Commitment to Family Centered Care required. Must be able to organize and prioritize work effectively. Competency in other languages is considered an asset. Thank you for your interest in IWK Health.
