Beer League Hockey Practice is continuing to expand throughout Ontario and the rest of Canada. If you or someone you know would be a good fit for a coaching position, please complete the form linked below.
Coaches commit to weekly practices where they lead Beer Leaguers through a series of drills and skill development exercises. There are guidelines and resources that BLHP provides, and coaches are given a good deal of freedom to build and develop their own programs based on their experience, feedback from the skaters, and feedback from the organization. Each program has a head coach with a support staff of assistant coaches. Coaches should be prepared to teach a variety of skill levels to a variety of adults of different ages and hockey backgrounds. Patience, and good attitude, positive energy, and willingness to provide direct feedback as well as address the group as a whole are important assets. We’re also growing our Goalie Practice programming and would love to connect with more goalie coaches in Ontario. About Canadian Beer League
Canadian Beer League provides hockey programming for grown-ups in Canada. Programs include our favourite child, Beer League Hockey Practice, which gives adults a place to learn the game and improve their skills. We also run leagues under the Canadian Beer League banner that begin in each market as house leagues for grown-ups, where less experienced players can compete and contribute. Rounding out the offerings are our shinny programs which provide organized gameplay without keeping score, and goalie clinics to provide adult goalies somewhere to hone their skills.
We pride ourselves on facilitating a fun and friendly environment in all of our programs, and hope to continue to expand throughout the country. Our goal is to become the gold standard for adult hockey programming in Canada, and grow our presence beyond the arenas through quality content, events, and excellent partnerships.
