Cost Recovery Administrator, Residential
1-year contract
Toronto, ON
The Cost Recovery Administrator, reporting into the Revenue Administration Manager, is responsible for the end-to-end utility billing cycle for all land lease residential properties and ensuring residents are billed appropriately. Liaising with internal and external partners, the Cost Recovery Administrator is responsible for reconciling and generating invoices for distribution to residents. The Cost Recovery Administrator will suggest and assist the Supervisor and Manager of Revenue Administration with process and technical enhancements. All duties will be completed while upholding Parkbridge’s mission, vision, and values, serving as a brand and cultural ambassador.
Responsibilities:

Working with Community and Integration Teams to manage utility consumption tables and static meter records

Monitoring and review of integration files for posting to resident sub-ledgers
-
Updating rental rate sets in system (Yardi)
-
Generate utility invoices (hydro, water, recycling, sewage, garbage) for distribution, working with site for resident delivery

Manage all utility inquiries, both internally and externally

Review and aid in Utility discrepancies with Property Managers – i.e. large accounts receivable balances, outstanding write-offs, etc.

Create correspondence to residents, working with the site for resident delivery

Work closely with the Accounting department to ensure month/quarter ends are properly invoiced and accounting related questions are properly answered

Liaise with Property Managers, Regional Managers, and Accounting to ensure appropriate information is received, recorded and provided as requested, either through regular monthly reports or ad-hoc requests

Participate in special ad-hoc projects

Identify and recommend process improvements in the Residential Property Administration workflows
Experience and Qualifications:
- Two years' relevant experience and post-secondary education preferred
- Experience in Residential Real Estate is an asset
- An energetic self-starter and willingness to learn
- Intermediate skills in Microsoft Office software and proficiency with Yardi Voyager is an asset
- Team-oriented with the ability to develop and sustain cooperative working relationships
- Attention to detail, high degree of accuracy and strong adherence to established deadlines
- Organized and efficient with strong multi-task skills and the ability to work under pressure with limited supervision
- Excellent interpersonal, communication and organizational skills
- Positive, friendly, professional and customer service oriented
- Ability to think logically and solve problems
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
