Part Time Shuttle Driver
Part Time: Permanent
Current Status: Vacant
Hourly Wage to Start: $19.60 per hour
Location: Hamilton, ON
Start Date: ASAP
Hours of Work-Part Time
- Core business hours.
- Occasional weekend with advance notice (1 per month max)

Requirements:
- Class G license required
- Clean abstract VSS for working with Seniors
- Excellent customer service
- Ability to lift approximately 30 pounds repetitively
- Have a passion for working with seniors!
Qualifications:
- Exhibits a caring, friendly, nurturing attitude while demonstrating a true concern for the residents
- Possess the ability to read, write and communicate effectively in English.
- Positive, team played with a "Can-do Attitude" with good attention to details
- Able to accept direction well from supervisor
- Have a desire to make a difference in the lives of older adults each day.
- Excellent computer skills
- Punctual, reliable and trustworthy
- Well organized and able to go above and beyond for our residents and guests
- Must be professional and able to work under pressure
- Must be able to multi task and adapt to change
- Must provide a clean drivers abstract
- Driving hours subject to change
- Proven driving experience required
- Other recreation responsibilities as required
Responsibilities:

Present a positive image of the residence to the public.

Provide administrative support as required.

Provide transportation services to residents, ensuring timely arrival to scheduled appointments

Operate and maintain the community vehicle in a safe and clean manner

Drive the community vehicle on resident day trips and outings
-
Be knowledgeable of and practice residence's fire and safety programs.

General knowledge of Hamilton area
