Day-to-day responsibilities include writing clean, efficient code, reviewing and refactoring existing services, troubleshooting production issues, and collaborating with product and content teams to support new training features. The engineer will also contribute to technical documentation, participate in code reviews, and help improve the overall architecture and performance of the platform.
Qualifications
Strong foundation in Computer Science, including data structures, algorithms, and software design principles. Experience in Back-End Web Development and Software Development, building and maintaining scalable web services or APIs. Proficiency in Programming and Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) using one or more modern languages (e.g., Python, NextJS). Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure, and understanding of cloud-native architectures and security best practices. Ability to write maintainable, testable code and work with version control systems (e.g., Git) and CI/CD pipelines.
