Overview

CLN is seeking an experienced Sales Manager to lead the sale and growth of its spill control and sorbent product line, including spill socks and booms manufactured from recycled plastics at our Ontario facility. This is a primarily remote role responsible for driving revenue, building lasting customer relationships, and expanding market reach across new and existing channels. The ideal candidate is a self-directed sales professional with experience selling industrial or environmental products and a proven ability to deliver results.

Key Responsibilities

Sales Management & Revenue Growth

Own and grow sales of the company’s spill control and sorbent product line, including spill socks and booms. Develop and execute a sales plan to meet revenue and volume targets. Identify and pursue new business opportunities across industrial, environmental, and commercial markets. Manage the full sales cycle from prospecting through to close.

Customer & Account Management

Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing customers, distributors, and partners. Serve as the primary point of contact for product inquiries, quotes, and orders. Understand customer needs and recommend appropriate products and solutions. Negotiate pricing and terms within approved guidelines.

Market Development

Identify emerging markets, customer segments, and channels for product growth. Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and customer meetings as needed. Provide market feedback to inform product positioning and pricing.

Reporting & Collaboration

Maintain an accurate sales pipeline and provide regular reporting to leadership. Coordinate with operations and production teams to ensure timely order fulfillment.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Environmental Studies, or a related field preferred. 5+ years of sales experience, ideally in industrial, environmental, packaging, or related product sales. Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and growing accounts. Strong relationship-building, negotiation, and communication skills. Self-motivated and able to work independently in a primarily remote capacity. Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel for occasional site visits and customer meetings.

Preferred Qualifications

Existing relationships or a network within spill response, environmental, safety, or industrial supply markets. Familiarity with sorbent products, spill containment, or recycled-material manufacturing. Experience selling through distributors or developing new sales channels.
