This posting is to establish an inventory of pre-qualified applicants to fill permanent, temporary, full-time Clerk 9 vacancies with BC Pension Corporation.
Testing will be required.
Temporary appointments may be extended or become regular.

Working in both a virtual and in person service-oriented work environment, you will provide pension administration services for our members and employers.
Administrative positions are responsible for processing routine service transactions related to the purchase of additional pension service, pension, and termination benefits.
Financial positions are responsible for preparing financial reconciliations, working papers in support of employer remittances to reported data, disbursement duties and reconciling billing.
We are looking for team members who are energized by providing professional, high quality service experience in every interaction. If you have strong customer service and interpersonal skills, are adept at navigating multiple computer systems and applications, and enjoy working in a fast-paced, high-volume environment, this opportunity may be the next step in your career.
About the inventory
To become an inventory member, applicants must meet the posted job requirements and successfully complete an online assessment (administrative and/or financial) of their knowledge and skills. If you wish to be considered for both the administrative and financial positions, you will be required to complete testing for each.
Once you become a member of the inventory, you will be offered the opportunity to interview for positions as vacancies arise.
Applicants who are not successful in being admitted to the inventory may reapply in the future.
Hybrid Work Model
This position is located in our Victoria, BC office. You will have the opportunity to work part of the time on-campus and part of the time off-campus. Guidelines and requirements for in-office presence are determined by operational need and vary according to the unique needs of each business area.

Qualifications
Must have
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- One year of recent (within 5 years) experience in a customer service or administrative/clerical role.
- Proficient in MS Office (Word, Outlook, Excel) and navigating through a variety of computer applications.
Nice to have:

One year experience in a financial position (accounts payable, receivable, payroll, banking, bookkeeping) is an asset.

Two or more years of related experience is preferred.
