A career as an Associate/ Wealth Associate at National Bank, you will play a key role in delivering exceptional client service and operational support. Your firm:

National Bank Financial – Wealth Management is the fifth largest brokerage firm in Canada. We have close to 1,000 investment advisors who manage the assets of more than 400,000 clients in about 100 branches.

Your team:

We are a Full-service wealth management team which has earned a reputation for integrity based on service excellence and trusted investment advice. Our Team prides themselves on working closely with clients, exploring innovative approaches to protecting and growing their clients' assets and achieve their financial goals. A successful candidate for this position will always be willing to learn and is focused on achieving the highest level of client service and dedication. A high attention to detail is required and the role’s priority focus is serving a growing pool of client capital over multiple generations.

Your job:

  • Collaborate closely with Senior Wealth Associate.
  • Manage client servicing tasks including emailing statements, mailing birthday letters, handling weekly and monthly tasks, sending tax packages, and processing account openings.
  • Execute routine operations such as deposits, withdrawals, and transfers, ensuring thorough follow-up.
  • Process and follow-up on client documentation for proper maintenance of accounts
  • Liaise with internal departments to support operational efficiency and stay informed of procedural updates.
  • Update our databases, maintain our microsite, work on marketing material and mailout of newsletters
  • Support servicing of existing clients.
  • Ensure adherence to compliance and risk management rules

  • Strong communication and writing skills.

Prerequisites:

  • Post-secondary education in a relevant business discipline.
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in banking or finance (flexible based on relevant experience).
  • Licensed as an Investment Associate or willingness to complete the Canadian Securities Course and Conduct and Practices Handbook within 6 months of hire.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Exceptional customer service skills.
