About Red Chris

Our Red Chris Mine, located in the heart of Northern British Columbia on the traditional territory of the Tahltan Nation. A short distance from Iskut and Dease Lake, Our fly-in, fly-out site offers access from various points across British Columbia and Alberta. Red Chris currently operates as an open-pit copper and gold mine with a promising future to transition to a high-value underground block cave operation. Your impact

You will play a critical role in protecting our operations, people, and environment by ensuring environmental compliance across our sites. Your work helps safeguard our license to operate while strengthening sustainable and responsible practices.

As part of our team, you will
  • Execute environmental compliance programs aligned with local, national, and international regulations
  • Conduct environmental audits, inspections, and regulatory reporting
  • Support permitting activities and maintain regulatory documentation
  • Monitor environmental performance and implement corrective actions
  • Partner with regulators and internal teams to support ongoing compliance
  • Identify, assess, and escalate environmental incidents or non compliance risks
Prerequisites for your success in this role
  • Post secondary education in environmental science, sustainability, or a related field
  • Working knowledge of environmental regulations and compliance programs
  • Experience supporting audits, inspections, and regulatory reporting
  • Experience within industrial safety environment (Mining, Oil & Gas, Construction, etc.)
  • Strong problem solving skills with attention to detail
  • Ability to collaborate across teams and communicate clearly with stakeholders

The expected salary range for this role is CA$85,400.00 - 113,900.00 per year . This range is tied to the British Columbia market for jobs performed in British Columbia. The salary offer to the successful candidate will be based on job-related education, training, and/or experience.
