We are seeking a highly motivated and ambitious Talent Acquisition Specialist who thrives in a ‘start-up’ environment and brings the knowledge, experience, and drive to help us build a best-in-class workplace..

Key Responsibilities

• Partner with hiring managers to define job requirements and staffing needs.
• Manage the end-to-end recruitment cycle, from sourcing to offer negotiation.
• Develop and implement recruitment strategies to attract qualified candidates.
• Source candidates through job boards, social media, networking, referrals, and industry events.
• Build and maintain a strong pipeline of talent for current and future needs.
• Conduct initial screenings to assess skills, experience, and cultural fit.
• Guide candidates through each stage of the hiring process with timely updates.
• Manage background checks, reference checks, and work authorization requirements.
• Develop and facilitate onboarding sessions for new hires.
• Maintain accurate recruitment records and track key hiring metrics.
• Monitor work permits, SIN expirations, and benefits.
• Provide data-driven insights to improve recruitment effectiveness.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
• Proven experience in a full-cycle recruitment role, preferably in a corporate or agency setting.
• Strong knowledge of recruitment best practices and employment legislation.
• Experience with ATS platforms and HR systems.
• Exceptional communication, relationship-building, and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a high-volume, fast-paced environment.

Preferred Skills

• Experience recruiting for retail, technical, or specialized positions.
• Proficiency in social media recruitment strategies.
• HR or recruitment certification (e.g., CHRP, SHRM-CP, PHR) is an asset.
