Purpose of the job

The incumbent will have as his main responsibility to manage the complete accounting of several family companies within the group. He.she will ensure rigorous accounting practices, tax compliance and the production of reliable financial information, while ensuring smooth coordination between the various entities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure the complete monthly accounting of a dozen family companies (writings, reconciliations, financial statements, etc.);
  • Manage cash flow and financial forecasts for each entity;
  • Coordinate year-end audit files and tax audits;
  • Ensure compliance with each company's own tax and regulatory obligations;
  • Implement and improve internal accounting processes;
  • Work closely with company owners and managers to understand specific needs and offer personalized support;
  • Participate in the establishment of new entities or the restructuring of the La Vie en Rose group; Any other related task related to the accounting management of the La Vie en Rose group.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or equivalent training;
  • Minimum 7 years of experience in accounting, ideally in a multi-company context;
  • Experience in the accounting management of investments (portfolios, investment income, performance monitoring, etc.);
  • Experience in property management (asset tracking, rental income, maintenance expenses, etc.);
  • Experience with private or family companies (a major asset);
  • Excellent command of Excel;
  • Knowledge of Great Plains is an asset.
