What is the Opportunity?
CAE Group is looking for a Senior Manager – Learning and Change Enablement to lead learning and change for the IA Practices Team. You are an expert – or willing to become one – in Annual Audit Planning, IA Methodology, and related learning globally. You are an expert in organizational change management and either corporate training or communications. This expertise is ideally complemented by working experience in a function like Internal Audit, Global Finance, Risk Management or Compliance.
In this role, you will evolve and lead design and delivery of tactical learning, communications and change plans for a group of 800 global professionals. In collaboration with leadership, you will build your strategic skills to by contributing to shaping our approach to training and change enablement in alignment with our overall Change Management strategy. This will include work in stakeholder identification and analysis, gap analysis, creating and delivering change and communication plans, and (of course) developing and delivering training in collaboration with SMEs from functions across the CAE Group. As part of our Change team, you will also support and be an active contributor to Program Change and Training.
You will leverage best-in-class change management and learning practices with a focus on driving measurable adoption of new tools, policies and practices. The role is ideal for a strategic thinker with a strong bias towards tactical delivery and strong communication skills.
What will you do?
- Develop and execute comprehensive end-to-end change management plans for Methodology/Practices enhancements.
- Work collaboratively with stakeholders to assess communication needs and develop and deploy a Practices-specific global communications plan to inform and engage stakeholders on pertinent Practices activities (both BAU and change-driven).
- Work collaboratively with stakeholders to assess IA Methodology learning needs, develop a global Methodology learning plan, and lead the delivery of the global Methodology learning plan – a key component of the overall CAE Group learning plan.
- Develop strategies to enhance adoption and mitigate resistance across the organization. Define, measure and report on success metrics.
What do you need to succeed?
Must-have:
- 5 – 7 years of experience in a dedicated change management, communications and/or training role gained in the context of global enterprise
- Outstanding skills in presentation, written communication, materials design and digital creation (e.g. video, learning guides, How To references, etc.)
- Proven ability to effectively interact and build relationships with cross-functional stakeholders
- Demonstrated ability to deliver tactically in alignment with strategic priorities and measurable learning/engagement outcomes
- Undergraduate degree in a relevant discipline and/or relevant post-graduate qualifications (e.g. Prosci certification, post-graduate diploma in communications, PR, adult education, etc.)
Nice-to-have
- Working experience in an area such as Audit, Finance, Risk or Compliance
- Strong preference for candidates able to demonstrate experience or expertise in internal audit theory and/or practice
- Experience in training and development, corporate communications, and/or project management
- Experience working in a global environment and managing change across different regions
