About the role
Are you an experienced Parts Advisor who takes pride in getting it right the first time? Do you enjoy helping customers and working with a team that values accuracy, collaboration and community?
Okotoks Nissan is looking for an experienced Parts Advisor to join our growing team! If you have experience working in a dealership parts department and a passion for customer service, we want to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist all customers (retail and shop) in selecting and locating required parts in a friendly, professional and efficient manner
- Order parts and provide information regarding parts, including their function, prices, application, and warranty
- Recommend companion parts and promote current specials to maximize customer value
- Process and fulfill online parts orders in a timely and accurate manner
- Handle shipping and receiving, including verifying incoming shipments and preparing outgoing orders
- Support and grow wholesale parts business, including processing orders and maintaining strong relationships with wholesale clients
- Communicate effectively with technicians and other departments regarding parts availability, backorders and special orders
- Support inventory management, including regular counts and organization
- Build strong, lasting relationships with customers to drive satisfaction, loyalty and referrals
- Perform other duties as required
What You Bring
- Minimum of 2+ years of experience in a dealership parts department
- Nissan OEM experience is considered a strong asset
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving ability
- Ability to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced environment
- Team-oriented mindset with the ability to work independently
- Valid driver's license
- Red Seal Parts Certification is an asset
