What are your contributions to the team?
- Research and review applicable engineering documentation
- Prepare lists of parts and materials required to perform the SB implementation
- Create or revise part(s) Condition of Supply (COS) documents
- Support on-site Service Bulletin proof installation/validation (might require travel)
- Provide support for external and internal customers
- Participate in the peer review process
How to thrive in this role?
- You possess a college diploma in Aircraft Maintenance or an equivalent qualification
- You have a minimum of five (5) years of technical experience as an aircraft mechanic, or in structures or avionics
- You have prior experience as a technical writer, ideally with service bulletin (SB) writing expertise
- You are able to work independently with minimal supervision in a hybrid work environment (minimum two days per week in the office)
- You demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, along with a strong command of written and spoken French
- Familiarity with Simplified Technical English (STE) is considered an asset
- You have the ability to read and interpret technical documents, including drawings, specifications, and maintenance manuals/publications
- You have strong knowledge of Microsoft Office; experience with MS Power Tool is an asset
- You have a good understanding of SGML/XML authoring tools, such as ArborText Adept Editor or Adobe FrameMaker
- You have great attention to detail and the ability to effectively handle urgent issues
