Job Description Manufacturing Manager South Bend, IN (Relocation Assistance Provided)

Division is 30+ years old yet continuing to grow rapidly, improve operations continually, new technologies, new machines, layouts, enhancements.
We are looking for a technical (Chemistry) manufacturing leader who will work on progressing the build-out of new lines for a new, FDA-approved, diagnostic consumable product (high volume, precision manufacturing). Key Areas To Note
- High-speed automation/continuous 24/7 manufacturing facility (producing millions to billions of products a year). Role works on a new product rolling out & supporting existing growth.
- You’ll play a critical role in project management, process/procedures, workflow, optimization, and general manufacturing.
- Position manages the “cost center”, ensuring profitability of the product platform
- Ensure all production targets are met; quality, quantity, on time delivery
- Experience in regulated industry/products a plus
- Ability to develop systems and oversee personnel (1st and 2nd shift); must have excellent communication skills
Qualifications Requirements:
- Bachelors degree required (Chemistry preferred but equivalent experience welcomed)
- 5+ years manufacturing experience in FDA / ISO regulated environment
- 1+ years of personnel leadership
- Must have excellent communication, verbal/written, and able to work independently
