Description Superior Electrical, Mechanical, and Plumbing, Inc. is a statewide commercial service provider specializing in skilled trade services. The Commercial HVAC Project Manager is responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing HVAC installation, repair, and replacement projects for commercial clients. This role includes managing budgets, schedules, subcontractors, and client relationships, while ensuring compliance with safety standards, building codes, and company policies.
Scope Of Responsibilities
- Plan and coordinate projects from start to finish
- Develop detailed project schedules and budgets
- Coordinate materials, equipment, and workforce needs
- Manage daily operations of HVAC installations and service projects
- Direct field crews and subcontractors
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients and vendors
- Provide timely and regular updates on project progress
- Ensure installations meet design specifications, safety standards, and regional codes
- Conduct inspections and quality checks throughout projects
- Maintain accurate documentation of permits, inspections, and close-out packages
Requirements
- A minimum of three years of project management experience in commercial HVAC or mechanical contracting
- Strong knowledge of commercial HVAC systems, building codes, and mechanical drawings
- Proficiency in project management software (Procore, MS Project, Bluebeam, etc.)
- Excellent communication, leadership, and negotiation skills
- Strong budgeting and scheduling abilities
- PMP (Project Management Professional Certification), OSHA safety certification, or equivalent
- HVAC trade license or mechanical contracting experience is often a plus
Salary Description
$70,000 to $90,000 per year (DOE)
