Who You Are:

Join our Calgary office as a Summer Student and gain hands-on experience in AI & Information Technology while supporting multiple departments across the organization. This role provides the opportunity to learn how business operations function from the inside out and contribute to meaningful projects that make a real impact.

This position is in-office, Monday through Friday, from 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM. from May 4th 2026 - August 28th 2026

What We're Looking For From You - If This Describes You, We'd Love to Meet!

  • Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or greater
  • Currently enrolled in a post-secondary co-op program
  • Proficiency in the Google Suite
  • Willingness to learn new systems and technologies
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and in a team setting
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • A valid driver’s license

Responsibilities:

  • Map current construction/fabrication workflows (bids, RFQs, RFIs, change orders, daily reports,
    QA/QC) and identify AI automation opportunities.
  • Design and build LLM‑based workflows and agents for tasks like document classification,
    metadata extraction, knowledge retrieval, and report generation.
  • Implement RAG pipelines over internal docs (contracts, scopes, procedures, drawings
    summaries, lessons learned) using vector search and metadata.
  • Integrate AI services with existing tools (e.g., Google drives and workspace, CADWorx,
    scheduling P6, via APIs, webhooks, and automation platforms.
  • Build, test, and maintain production‑grade services (APIs, workers, orflows) with proper logging,
    monitoring, and alerting.
  • Evaluate and tune prompts, retrieval quality, and workflows using real project scenarios and
    stakeholder feedback.
  • Ensure security, access control, and compliance for sensitive projects and commercial
    information.
  • Train users, document solutions, and provide second‑line support when workflows fail or need
    refinement.
