About the Clinic: At Ironwood Dental, we’re passionate about creating an environment where both patients and team members feel truly cared for. Our philosophy is simple: every patient is unique, and it’s our job to understand their priorities and provide personalized care that leaves them confident about their oral health.

We’ve built a clinic culture centred on compassion, trust, and comfort. Over the years, we’ve perfected the art of putting people at ease, and we take pride in creating a space that reflects this — from our vibrant colours and calming waterfall feature to our modern technology and welcoming atmosphere.

For our team, Ironwood Dental offers more than just a workplace — it’s a supportive, collaborative environment where you can grow, contribute, and make a real difference in the lives of patients every day.

What you’ll do:

  • Assist the dentist chairside during procedures, ensuring a smooth and efficient workflow.
  • Prepare and sterilize instruments and treatment rooms following strict infection control protocols.
  • Educate patients on oral hygiene, post-treatment care, and dental procedures.

  • Support front desk operations as needed, including scheduling and patient communication.
  • Contribute to a positive, patient-focused clinic environment.

What you’ll bring to the role:

  • Certification as a Dental Assistant with BCCOHP.
  • Minimum 2 years of chairside assisting experience, with experience supporting Invisalign patients required.
  • Successful completion of an orthodontic module.
  • Experience with Tracker dental software is considered an asset but is not required.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills—you’re as good at explaining care as you are at providing it.
  • Excellent multitasking and organizational skills, and you’re comfortable managing a busy schedule with ease.
  • A collaborative spirit and the ability to work both independently and as part of a close-knit clinical team.
