About the role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Systems Analyst with deep expertise in SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP) to drive design, integration, and innovation across enterprise applications. This role will play a critical part in enabling digital transformation by leveraging SAP BTP services, ensuring scalable architecture, seamless integrations, and modern cloud-native solutions.

Essential Functions

This position brings strong technical depth, business acumen, and the ability to collaborate across IT, functional teams, and external partners.

Solution Design & Architecture

Contribute to the design and architecture of scalable solutions using SAP BTP services (Integration Suite, Extension Suite, SAP Build, CAP, etc.) Define and implement extension strategies for SAP S/4HANA and other SAP/non-SAP systems Ensure adherence to clean core principles and SAP best practices Contribute to the Architecture Review Board (ARB) governance Integration & API Management Design and implement integrations using: SAP Integration Suite (CPI, API Management, Event Mesh) REST, OData, SOAP APIs Enable event-driven and API-first architecture Ensure high-quality, secure, and reusable integrations across enterprise systems Application Development & Extensions Develop applications using: SAP BTP (Cloud Foundry environment) CAP (Cloud Application Programming Model) SAP Build Apps / Fiori / UI5 Build extensions for S/4HANA, Commerce, and other digital platforms Ensure code quality, version control, and automated deployments Drive testing and automation/AI strategies Ensure compliance with DevOps and CI/CD best practices Stakeholder Collaboration Partner with technical and functional IT teams and stakeholders Translate business requirements into technical solutions Work closely with AMS vendors, system integrators, and global teams Governance, Security & Compliance Ensure compliance with security standards (IAM, OAuth, SSO) Enforce enterprise integration and development standards Support audit, risk management, and regulatory requirements Basic Qualifications Strong expertise in: SAP BTP (Integration Suite, Extension Suite, HANA Cloud) SAP CPI (Cloud Platform Integration) API Management & Event Mesh Proficiency in: Java, Node.js, JavaScript CAP (Cloud Application Programming Model) SAP Fiori/UI5 Experience with: REST/OData services Microservices architecture Cloud platforms (Azure preferred) Knowledge of: SAP S/4HANA architecture and integrations Identity Authentication Services (IAS) / Identity Provisioning (IPS) Preferred Certifications SAP Certified Development Associate – SAP BTP SAP Certified Technology Specialist – SAP Integration Suite SAP Certified Development Associate – SAP Fiori / UI5 SAP Certified Application Associate – S/4HANA (preferred) Cloud certifications (nice to have): Microsoft Azure Fundamentals / Architect Agile/Scrum certifications (optional) Personal Characteristics Demonstrates ownership, accountability, and attention to detail in technical delivery and support activities. Communicates clearly with technical and non-technical stakeholders. Applies strong analytical thinking to troubleshoot integration issues and improve operational reliability. Collaborates across business segments, disciplines, and geographies with a service-oriented mindset. Continuously looking for practical, secure, and efficient ways to improve integration delivery and support outcomes.

Compensation Package

The standard hiring range for this role is $130-$145K CAD per annum with a 10% bonus potential. The final agreement upon salary may vary based on market location and factors such This posting is for an existing position.
