Job Description
As a Strategy & Operations Analyst, you’ll play a key role in shaping Planet Networks’ growth, operational efficiency, and long-term strategic direction. This role sits at the intersection of data analytics, business operations, and executive strategy. This is a highly cross-functional role, as you’ll need to collaborate with teams in sales, construction, finance, customer success, and engineering. You will be expected to operate with a high degree of autonomy, manage multiple competing priorities, and consistently deliver accurate, thoughtful work under tight timelines.
Key Responsibilities
Working with the digital infrastructure deployment team to design fiber-optic routes, identify issues, and develop an execution plan. Assisting with territory planning and with the development of strategic, competitive, and product analyses. Conduct market research and analysis. Interpret and analyze complex data to derive key insights and report on KPIs. Verifies the quality, accuracy, and reasonableness of the data. Displays, organizes, and crafts data into a compelling storyline with actionable insight. Help create and execute on our M&A pipeline. Contribute to creating and sharing competitive intelligence findings and conclusions with senior management, including presentations, white papers, case studies, etc. Participate in special projects and perform other duties as assigned.

Core skills and qualifications: Current undergraduate student graduating in summer of 2026 Excellent problem-solving, modeling, and data-storytelling skills Excellent verbal and written communication skills Ability to collaborate cross-functionally and communicate technical results to non-technical stakeholders Highly organized and detail-oriented, strong multi-tasking and time management skills Self-starter comfortable working in a fast-paced, evolving environment with open-ended goals Willingness and ability to learn quickly
Preferred Skills And Qualifications:
Strong proficiency in Python, SQL, Excel, or BI tools Prior experience in strategy, consulting, analytics, or corporate development

About The Global Institute for Health and Human Rights
The Global Institute for Health and Human Rights (GIHHR) was founded by physicians and human rights activists Arash and Kamiar Alaei in 2012. Since its approval by the University at Albany in early 2013, the institute has aimed to facilitate a deeper understanding of the intersection between the areas of health and human rights, with a concentration on reproductive health, maternal and child care, HIV/AIDS prevention, education and harm reduction. The GIHHR has been instrumental in helping to reconstruct the concept of health as a human right, and to help bridge the gap between these two fields. In order to accomplish this goal, the institute works with a number of organizations at both the national and international level in the areas of research, advocacy, policy, education and implementation. By, continuing to use these different methods and working on numerous projects with a variety in size and scope, the GIHHR can branch out and continue to expand and improve its programs.
