About the Role:

  • The Application Support Analyst (Maximo) plays a key role in supporting Maximo data management, coordinating engineering documentation, and assisting in the development of reporting and best practices. This position requires strong analytical capabilities, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to safety, collaboration, and continuous improvement. Working closely with Station Build, Engineering, and external vendors, you will help maintain the accuracy, consistency, and reliability of station asset data across the distribution system.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide comprehensive Maximo application support, including asset creation, updating specifications, and assigning Preventative Maintenance (PM) frequencies for distribution station assets.
  • Maintain accurate and complete station asset information to support operational and regulatory requirements.
  • Respond to Station Build inquiries from both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Coordinate with Station Build, Stations Engineering, and vendor fabricators to obtain engineering‑stamped drawings, technical data sheets, and quotes.
  • Foster strong teamwork and positive working relationships with cross-functional groups.
  • Assist the Station Build Supervisor and Advisors with the development and maintenance of operational and performance reports.
  • Contribute to the creation and continuous refinement of best practices, internal procedures, and process documentation for the Station Build team.
  • Support efforts to enhance consistency, efficiency, and standardization across workflows.
  • Ensure all work is performed in accordance with safety policies, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.
  • Maintain a strong focus on customer service, quality, and operational excellence.
  • Drive continuous improvement and innovation in processes, tools, and practices.

Qualifications:

Required

  • A related university degree or college diploma and 4+ years of experience, OR 6+ years of relevant utility experience, preferably in Distribution Operations or the Engineering field.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem‑solving skills, with the ability to work independently and take initiative.
  • Excellent analytical and organizational abilities, with proven skill in managing multiple tasks or projects simultaneously.
  • Exceptional communication skills (verbal, written, and presentation), with the ability to negotiate and collaborate effectively.
  • Proficiency with PC‑based applications, including Maximo and the Microsoft Office Suite.

Preferred:

  • Familiarity and experience with Maximo at an advanced level.
  • Strong understanding of gas measurement and regulation station design and operation within distribution systems.
  • Knowledge of regulator sizing.
  • Familiarity with applicable industry codes, standards, and the ability to interpret and apply company policies and practices within Distribution Operations.
