As a .NET Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, and deploying backend applications and services using the .NET ecosystem. You will collaborate closely with business stakeholders and cross-functional teams to deliver scalable, secure, and maintainable solutions that support enterprise digital initiatives.
This position reports to the Manager, Digital Development.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain high-quality backend applications using .NET technologies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and implement new features.
- Ensure the performance, scalability, and reliability of backend services.
- Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks and bugs.
- Maintain code quality through best practices, including unit testing and automation.
- Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback.
- Integrate with RESTful APIs and third-party services.
- Ensure secure coding practices and compliance with data protection standards.
- Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies.
- Support deployment and release activities, including CI/CD pipelines.
- Document technical specifications and system designs.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and refine requirements.
- Provide production support and troubleshoot issues as needed.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 3–5 years of experience in backend development using .NET.
- Proficient in C#, .NET Core, and .NET Framework.
- Experience with RESTful APIs and web services.
- Strong understanding of object-oriented programming principles.
- Familiarity with front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) is a plus.
- Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
- Experience working with stakeholders to define and deliver technical solutions.
- Demonstrate punctuality and dependability to support overall team success in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with cloud platforms such as Azure or AWS.
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Experience with CI/CD tools and pipelines.
