Leadership Trainee

Battlefield Equipment Rentals (a division of Toromont Industries Ltd.), one of Canada’s premiere Construction Rental Companies, presently requires a Leadership Trainee based at our Brampton location.

The Leadership Trainee Program is a paid management internship program at Battlefield Equipment Rentals that allows you to showcase what you can do, acquire skills and accelerate your management and leadership development. Our Leadership Trainee's will travel and operate all over our Central Region to learn and gain direct experience in the various business segments that make up our organization.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Wage: $60,000.00 annually.

Key Responsibilities:

• Rotational program operating throughout our Central Region across several business segments within Battlefield Equipment Rentals;
• On the job training, formal mentorship and special projects with the following business segments including, but not limited to, Rental Operations, Product Support, CAT Compact Equipment inside/outside sales, Rental inside/outside sales, Purchasing, Marketing, Health and Safety, and Finance;
• Participate in one to three month rotations throughout the duration of the program to acquire knowledge, skills and abilities to take-on various leadership and key positions within the company;
• Network effectively with a dedicated Leadership Mentor during the program and beyond;
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Key Qualifications

• University Degree or College Diploma with business or other related programs;

• Individual that demonstrates an emergent leadership aptitude and skillset;

• Effective communicator, Bilingual is considered an asset;

• Ability and willingness to travel for rotational assignments during this program;

• Upon graduation, a willingness to consider leadership opportunities within your region.
