The Contract Administrator is responsible for addressing all commercial aspects of daily business during the project realization phase for our long-term Healthineers Enterprise Services (ES) Value Partnership contracts. Role entails complete Order Management - Book to Bill Process, as well as some month-end close related tasks. This is a hybrid role based out of our Oakville, ON office and is a 12 Month Term role.
Responsibilities
The Contract Administrator:
- Creates, completes and executes SD orders/contracts in the SAP system
- Generates down payment requests
- Executes customer invoicing (based on agreed payment conditions)
- Places purchase orders (internal and external) and checks 3rd party order confirmations
- Checks and approves third-party invoices
- Monitors order costs and processes non-conformance costs (if applicable)
- Issues credit notes - if required
- Verifies balance between order and delivery, and processes corrections as needed
- Completes relevant documents
- As part of the month end closing, posts journal entries and performs account reconciliations
- supports Project Reporting and Controlling activities, e.g. financial planning, forecasting, controlling and variance analysis
- Supports SAP P58 implementation efforts as needed (data preparation, data load, testing, verification etc.)
Required Knowledge/Skills, Education, and Experience
- Degree in Business Administration, Finance or a related field
- 3+ years of operational experience in a related role
- Ability to understand complex situations quickly, e.g. contracts, financial models, operational changes
- Strong communication and teamworking skills required to successfully collaborate with diverse internal stakeholders as well as suppliers and customer representatives
- Advanced skills in SAP/ERP systems
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Office 365 applications.
Skills, Education, and Experience that are considered an asset
- Completion of PMP Certification, or in progress
- Obtained CPA Designation, or in progress
The expected Compensation for this position is: $32.05-$57.69 per hour (+4%)
