What is the opportunity?
In this role you will be responsible for governance and management of key regulatory requirements, risk and operational issues and business improvements associated with Financing Products, Deposits, International Cards, Merchant Acquiring, Wealth Solutions and Non-Card Payments. You will ensure full compliance while balancing client impact and the needs and profitability of the business. You will collaborate with Personal & Commercial Banking Operations, Compliance, Sales, Information Technology, Risk, Treasury, Legal, Fraud and other functions to increase efficiency, profitability and competitiveness and mitigate product risk.
What will you do?
- Plan, direct and coordinate initiatives of low to medium complexity that will help achieve acquisition, retention, growth targets and business improvements ensuring completion within established timeframes/obligations
- Execute initiatives of low to medium level complexity that will mitigate risk and close audit issues, operational risk events, and self-identified issues
- Collaborate with internal partners to challenge and change processes to identify opportunities appropriately reflecting actual risks, facilitating easier sales force and client experiences and removing unnecessary processes
- Resolve issues and conflicts on assigned initiatives and escalates to Senior Manager, Business and Regulatory Management
- Identify risks that could impact products as well as opportunities for BAU product enhancements
- Recommend solutions for the risks identified to capture opportunities to support increased revenues, optimize resources, manage costs and maximize customer service to established customer experience standards and exploring the available alternatives that address customer needs
- Provide support and analyses on regulatory impacts to products and respond, address and resolve client issues/irritants
- Be the key conduit for the Senior Manager, Business and Regulatory Management for Internal Audit, Regulator and Client Care requests through in-depth research and analysis leading to issue resolution

Must Have:
- Degree in Business Management or a related field
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Skilled in impact analysis leading to decisions
- Credit and lending product & process knowledge
- Core Banking Systems (ex. RIBS, T24), Branch, Operations
