Levitt-Safety is looking for an organized, people-focused HR & Recruitment Coordinator to support our Fort McMurray branch. Reporting to the Talent Acquisition Manager, this role supports recruitment coordination, onboarding, employee setup, HR administration, and day-to-day employee questions for our dedicated service team in the region. Our Fort McMurray branch supports important safety services for industrial, mining, and service customers across the region, and this role helps keep the people side of that work running smoothly. About the Role As the HR & Recruitment Coordinator, you’ll be an onsite coordination point for candidates, employees, supervisors, managers, and our national HR team. You’ll help make sure hiring, onboarding, employee records, payroll-related questions, system access, and branch-level HR administration are handled smoothly and accurately. You’ll be part of a supportive HR team while working closely with local branch leaders and employees. It’s a practical, hands-on role with variety, purpose, and room to build your HR and recruitment experience. What You’ll Do Coordinate recruitment activities, including resume screening, candidate communication, interview scheduling, and first-round interviews. Support hiring administration, offer letters, and pre-employment requirements. Help deliver a smooth onboarding experience from offer acceptance through the employee’s first days on the job. Coordinate employee setup with internal teams, including IT, equipment, system access, and site-specific onboarding requirements. Act as a first point of contact for Fort McMurray employee questions related to onboarding, payroll, benefits, systems, timesheets, and general HR processes. Maintain accurate employee records and documentation across multiple systems. Track onboarding, training, and compliance requirements and follow up on outstanding items. Support the HR Business Partner and Talent Acquisition team with administrative and coordination activities. Pitch in where needed with a team-first mindset as priorities change. What You Bring Experience in administration, coordination, recruitment support, HR support, employee onboarding, or a similar role. Strong technical skills in a Microsoft 365 environment is required. Familiarity with HR systems, applicant tracking systems, or employee databases is an asset. Ability to learn new systems and technology quickly is a key to success in this role. Strong organization skills and strong attention to detail. Confidence communicating with candidates, employees, managers, and internal teams both in-person and virtually. Comfort working with confidential information and using sound judgment. A proactive, dependable approach—you notice what needs doing and help move it forward. Comfort working onsite in a busy branch environment where no two days look exactly the same. What’s in It for You?
