About the role

The Business Systems Analyst, Middle Office is an integral team member of Atlantic’s Enterprise Applications group responsible for leveraging technology to revolutionize our core capabilities to maximize business outcomes. This role will join a growing team that will contribute to the digital delivery portfolio within Atlantic. Our technology projects underpin Atlantic’s digital strategy, which is focused on systems, data, and automation.

The Business Systems Analyst, Middle Office possesses strong technical expertise in ERP/MES and key business processes, including sales, purchasing, planning, manufacturing, and warehousing. This role is responsible for supporting global system deployments by gathering business requirements, drafting functional specifications, and prototyping solutions. Reporting to the Manager, Middle Office Systems and working closely with cross-functional teams, the successful candidate will help ensure timely execution and alignment with business objectives. The focus is on delivering scalable, efficient systems that drive operational excellence.

Location: Scarborough, Ontario (currently hybrid)

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Design, configure, deploy, and administer the global ERP solution.
  • Configure and manage ERP modules to support cost estimation, order management, procurement, quality & warehousing.
  • Document business processes, requirements, test scenarios, and system changes; support solution prototyping and UAT coordination.
  • Act as a liaison between business stakeholders, IT teams, and vendors to align system capabilities with operational needs.
  • Provide operational support, manage tickets, and maintain applications related to manufacturing, production, and reporting.
  • Develop user documentation and training materials to promote system adoption and process understanding.
  • Support integration between ERP and MES platforms; identify opportunities to replace custom tools with standard solutions.
  • Assist in process improvement, change management, and transitioning projects to steady-state operations.
  • Plan, test, and manage ERP patch deployments to ensure system stability and compliance
  • Analyze business requirements and assist in implementing out-of-the-box enhancements that improve process efficiency.

ROLE REQUIREMENTS:

  • University degree in Business, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 5+ years’ experience as a Business Systems Analyst supporting complex ERP and MES systems in a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong expertise in ERP systems (preferably Infor and EnCore) with practical knowledge of MES tools (CTI preferred).
  • Proficiency in SQL for data analysis and reporting.
  • Demonstrated experience in business analysis, including requirement elicitation and documentation.
  • Practical knowledge of sales quoting, order fulfillment, planning, purchasing, warehousing, master data, and pricing.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with proven ability to build consensus among diverse stakeholders.
  • Skilled in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio.
  • Strong organizational, planning, and time management capabilities.
  • Self-driven with a results-oriented mindset and accountability.
  • Bilingual in English and French (considered an asset).
