Job Title: Assembler I
This role will be for a 3-month Contract
Job Summary:
Under direct supervision, the Assembler I will be responsible for assembling various Salford products and components according to Standard Operating Procedures. You will work independently and as part of a team to ensure that each product assembled meets the required quality and efficiency Standards.
Responsibility:
-
Independently assemble and package machines following standard operating procedures (SOPs) to our standard or average allotted times
-
Operate small hand tools, slings, grinders, cutting torch, and other hand tools related to the job's needs.

Maintain a clean work area and equipment
-
Ensure equipment and tools are in good working condition, reporting maintenance services when required
-
Safely load and unload parts on and from the main paint line
-
Check Individual output to ensure highest quality
-
Report on issues, malfunction, or defective parts
-
Work in accordance with Health & Safety regulations, Company rules, policies, and procedures
-
Assist other team members and take on other duties as assigned by the lead hand or supervisor
Troubleshoot minor hydraulic/ Electrical issues
Academic/Educational Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent is preferred
Required Skills/Experience:
-
Experience working with hydraulics, electronic equipment, and other mechanical work is preferred

Excellent hand-eye coordination, manual dexterity, attention to detail
-
Safe operation of Forklift and overhead Cranes.
-
Experience with hand tools and power tools
-
Ability to lift up to 50lbs with the assistance of a lifting device
-
Ability to troubleshoot and identify mechanical errors
-
Must be organized, proactive, and maintain a positive attitude in the workplace
-
Ability to operate forklift and overhead crane (training will be provided)
-
Ability to work independently and in a team setting
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
