Position Description
The Department of Economics at the University of Toronto invites applications for a tenure-stream position in the area of Global Economics of Technology. The appointment will be at the rank of Associate Professor or Professor, and will commence on July 1, 2024, or shortly thereafter.
Responsibilities
- Conduct research in the field of global economics of technology.
- Teach undergraduate and graduate courses in economics.
- Supervise graduate students and contribute to the academic community.
Qualifications
Required
- A PhD in Economics or a related field.
- A strong record of research and publication in the area of global economics of technology.
- Evidence of excellence in teaching.
Preferred
- Experience in interdisciplinary research.
- Ability to attract external funding.
