Role Description The Millwork AutoCAD and Mozaik Drafter is a full-time, on-site role based in Scarborough, ON. This position is responsible for producing detailed millwork and cabinetry shop drawings using AutoCAD and Mozaik, including elevations, sections, and construction details. Day-to-day tasks include interpreting architectural and design drawings, coordinating with project managers and production teams, and ensuring drawings are accurate, complete, and aligned with project specifications and industry standards. The drafter will update and revise drawings as needed, support space planning and layout development, and assist in resolving technical issues related to fabrication and installation. Collaboration with the shop and installation teams to ensure feasibility and efficiency of designs is an essential part of the role.

Qualifications

Ability to interpret and produce Architectural Drawings and Construction Drawings with strong attention to detail. Proficiency in Drawing and Space Planning to develop accurate layouts and functional designs for millwork and cabinetry. Strong Communication skills to collaborate effectively with designers, project managers, shop personnel, and installers. Hands-on experience using AutoCAD and Mozaik (or similar millwork design software) for detailed shop drawings. Knowledge of millwork fabrication methods, materials, hardware, and installation practices. Relevant technical diploma or certification in drafting, architectural technology, or a related field. Ability to manage multiple projects, meet deadlines, and maintain organized documentation. Familiarity with building codes and industry standards related to millwork and cabinetry is an asset.
