As the on-siteHR****Advisorat ourBrampton distribution center, you play a crucial role in the success of our business by supporting teams and leaders to do their best work, be themselves and grow our business.
What you’ll do as theHRAdvisor**:**
- Lead employee orientation and help create a welcoming, high-performance culture.
- Partner with leaders on full cycle recruitment - to forecast staffing needs, recruit talent, and deliver a seamless hiring experience.
- Support performance and reward programs—ensuring associates are recognized, compensated fairly, and clearly understand their benefits.
- Promote health and safety by driving compliance, communication, and continuous improvement in workplace safety.
- Empower employee growth by delivering impactful training, coaching, and development initiatives.
- Investigate employee relations matters in a timely manner while fostering engagement, a positive environment and meeting operational needs.
- Manage claims with care and efficiency, supporting associates through WSIB, STD, and LTD processes with empathy and integrity.
What we are looking for:
- 3-5 years of HR experience, preferably in a distribution center or similar environment
- Strong knowledge of HR practices and employment laws
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and work in a fast-paced environment
- Advanced proficiency in HR systems, data analysis and HR metrics
- Strong project management skills
- Experience with leading and supporting organizational change initiatives
- Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills.
