About the team you are joining

Reporting to the Manager, Administration you will provide the administrative services for reception and conference center, including processing telephone calls, conference room reservations and food and beverage orders. He/she must be resourceful, able to multi-task, and people, team and customer service oriented.

Candidates applying for this job need to have graduated within the last 12 months, be available to start quickly, and work on a full-time basis (40 hours per week), for at least 6 months.

What your day would be like

  • Provide professional and courteous internal and external stakeholder customer service in a reception environment;

  • Provide telephony coverage with emphasis on excellent customer service;

  • Assist in processing conference room requests in the EMS program and catering requirements;

  • Assist in meeting rooms' logistic and IT requirements;

  • Assist in preparation, set up and wrapping up of catering requests served in conference rooms or in the employee Bistro;

  • Assist in data gathering and statistics to be used in reports;

  • Replace any member of the team and be a vital team player embracing IATA values;

  • Work with the Manager Administration on other projects assigned.

We would love to hear from you if

  • You have excellent written and oral communication skills in both English and French;
  • You are a University graduate.
  • You have customer service experience, preferably reception would be an asset;
  • You have knowledge of audio visual and video technologies and Events Management (an asset);
  • You have the ability to multi-task while being security focused;
  • You are flexible and capable of performing manual tasks as needed; for example, assisting with inventory management or equipment setup.
