We are not work-from-home, hybrid, or in-office – we are any and all of those options! Deepening social connections and offering shared experiences is a cornerstone of the way we work. We connect as a team at our Team Week experiences four times a year and at our recently established Hub locations - SF Bay Area, NYC Metro Area, NY; Denver, CO; Houston, TX; Calgary, AB; and Toronto, ON.
We are currently looking for candidates located within 60 miles of any of the listed hubs to foster more in-person connections while maintaining our flexible remote culture.
**About This Role

**Team Overview
The Operations team brings renewable projects from concept to long-term performance. With over 4GW of operational experience, the team spans operations, asset management, and compliance—and works closely with Development and Construction throughout the project lifecycle. As Intersect’s fleet expands, the Operations team plays a central role in ensuring projects run safely, efficiently, and in full compliance with regulatory requirements. Joining this team means advancing Intersect’s mission of powering a sustainable future while growing your expertise in renewable operations and compliance.

• Deliver training for plant and operations staff on compliance requirements, protocols, and evidence expectations
• Build and maintain strong relationships with regulators, Reliability Coordinators, ISOs, and third-party partners
• Represent Intersect at industry organizations, conferences, and forums to stay ahead of evolving compliance trends
**What You’ll Bring
• A bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, or a related field—or equivalent experience in regulatory compliance or operations
• 5+ years of experience in NERC compliance or the electric regulatory industry, such as utility engineering, compliance, or regulatory agencies
• Familiarity with NERC CIP Medium Impact Reliability Standards and ISO/RTO operations
