About the role
Education: Bachelor's degree. Work setting: College or university educational institution/establishment. Tasks: Manage balance sheets and profit/loss statements. Plan, set up and administer accounting systems. Supervise staff. Train staff. Analyze clients' financial records. Arrange training for staff. Ensure accuracy and compliance to accounting standards, procedures and internal control. Prepare financial information for individuals, departments or companies. Prepare reports and audit findings. Prepare financial statements and reports. Recommend improvements to accounting systems and management practices. Develop and maintain cost findings, reporting and internal control procedure. Review and examine financial services and institutions to ensure compliance with governing legislation and regulation. Analyze financial documents and reports. Examine accounting records. Assist in the planning and execution of financial statement audits. Variance analysis. Keep financial records and establish, maintain and balance various accounts using manual and computerized bookkeeping systems. Oversee payroll administration. Supervision: 3-4 people. Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses : Chartered Accountants (CA) Designation. Computer and technology knowledge: Automatic data processing (ADP). Accounting software. Quick Books. MS Office. Internet. MS Excel. MS Windows. MS Outlook. Area of specialization: Risk management. Financial examination. Financial investigation. Accounting. Transportation/travel information: Valid driver's licence. Own vehicle. Willing to travel regularly. Willing to travel for extended periods.
