Job Description
FLINT is seeking a Journeyperson Quality Control Inspector with Construction experience for a Temporary Role in Wood Buffalo, AB starting January 12th, 2026. In this position, you will enjoy 14 days in and 7 days out schedule, 8-hour workdays, camp only, Flights will be provided from Calgary & Edmonton, and benefits after 300+ hours worked.
Qualifications
- Journeyperson Red Seal Electrician (or equivalent) with 5–10 years of industrial electrical experience, including 2–3 years in QA/QC or field inspection.
- Strong knowledge of CEC Part I & II, NFPA 70E, ISA, IEEE, API standards, and client QA/QC requirements.
- Experienced in interpreting electrical drawings and executing QA/QC activities, including EHT systems, cable terminations, tray inspections, and commissioning. Skilled in preparing ITPs, NCRs, and turnover dossiers, with strong communication and coordination abilities to ensure compliance and smooth project handover.
- Meet minimum mandatory safety ticket requirements:
- CSTS-2020
- H2S Alive
- Aerial Work Platform
- Fall Protection
- Standard First Aid
- Physically capable of performing demanding job tasks in various work conditions.
- Proficient in English, both written and verbal communication required.
- Must have own reliable transportation to site.
Additional Information
This position has been identified as a safety sensitive position and will require completion of drug and alcohol testing.
