Job Description & Requirements

DRAMA, 0.375 FTE

We are seeking a qualified teacher who must possess:

  • A Manitoba Teacher's Certificate, or eligibility for teacher certification in the Province of Manitoba.
  • A Bachelor of Education with a strong scholastic/academic background.
  • Demonstrated ability to program and teach Dramatic Arts at the high school level.
  • Demonstrated ability and experience in the differentiation of instruction to meet the needs of all learners.

Preference will be given to candidates who possess:

  • Previous successful high school teaching experience.
  • Knowledge and understanding of teaching literacy through the curriculum and how it connects to that of the Dramatic Arts.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work as an effective member of a team in implementing a quality program.

BAND, 0.125 FTE

We are seeking a qualified teacher who must possess:

  • A Manitoba Teacher's Certificate, or eligibility for teacher certification in the Province of Manitoba.
  • A degree in Music Education.
  • A background in band instruction and guitar, and competency in instrumentation.
  • Experience in rock bands, and digital music creation.
  • A strong academic background.
  • Demonstrated ability to program and teach a high school band program.

Preference will be given to candidates who possess:

  • Previous successful high school teaching experience.
  • A Master's Degree in education with specialization in music instruction.
