We need a Manager, Finance and Procurement to join our leadership team!

In this role, you’ll influence key decisions, strengthen financial performance, and help ensure teams have what they need to deliver exceptional care – all while building strong partnerships, and continuous improvement.

As The Successful Applicant You Will Do The Following
Lead the hospital’s financial operations – from budgeting and forecasting to reporting and controls Ensure accurate, timely financial reporting to support leaders and key partners (Ontario Health, Ministry of Health) Turn financial data into meaningful insights that guide strategic decisions Partner with leaders across the organization to strengthen budget management Support audits and keep financial practices aligned with public sector standards Lead a fair, transparent procurement program aligned with Broader Public Sector (BPS) requirements Lead, coach, and inspire a high-performing finance and materials management team Strengthen compliance and reduce risk through strong processes, internal controls, and continuous improvement Support capital accounting and reconciliation activities for the hospital redevelopment project, ensuring compliance with internal policies and collaborate with the Project Director, Planning and Strategy on Ministry of Health capital reporting.
What You’ll Bring
Required
Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) designation in good standing
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, or a related field Minimum of 5 years of progressive leadership in finance and procurement Hands-on experience with budgeting, financial reporting, and financial systems. Deep understanding of Ontario healthcare funding models, public sector procurement rules, and PSAS (Public Sector Accounting Standards) Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel Strategic thinker with exceptional attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
Preferred
Experience in healthcare or broader public sector
Experience using Meditech Expanse Experience using Workday Adaptive

About COLLINGWOOD GENERAL & MARINE HOSPITAL
Collingwood General and Marine Hospital (CGMH) is an 84 bed hospital located in Collingwood, Ontario (approximately 90 minutes north of Toronto) that serves more than 74,000 permanent residents and 3.5 Million annual visitors to the communities of Wasaga Beach, Collingwood, Clearview and the Blue Mountains. CGMH is an acute care hospital providing emergency care, diagnostic services including lab, imaging and cardio respiratory therapy, as well as two inpatient units (medicine and surgery). In addition, CGMH also provides care in specialty areas including obstetrics, orthopaedics, intensive care and surgery. The Hospital also provides out patient care including dialysis and a wide range of clinics including mental health and rehabilitation services. CGMH continues to provide care close to home for our community and plays a key role as an integrated orthopaedic centre for our region.
