Job Overview
IT Niche is seeking a meticulous and highly analytical Remote Data Analyst to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for uncovering insights from complex datasets and a talent for translating them into actionable strategies. In this role, you will be central to our mission of delivering results-driven digital solutions by analysing performance across web design, SEO, and digital marketing campaigns. You will provide the critical insights that inform our strategies, help our clients understand their return on investment, and drive continuous improvement across all our services.
Key Responsibilities
- Collect, interpret, and analyse data from various sources, including website analytics, CRM systems, and digital marketing platforms.
- Develop and maintain dashboards and performance reports to visualise key metrics for internal teams and external clients.
- Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) for SEO, PPC, and other digital marketing campaigns, identifying trends and opportunities for optimisation.
- Analyse website user behaviour, conversion data, and customer journeys to recommend improvements for user experience and conversion rate optimisation.
- Collaborate with our web development and marketing teams to support A/B testing and other data-driven experiments.
- Transform complex data into clear, concise, and compelling stories that are easily understood by non-technical stakeholders.
- Ensure the accuracy and integrity of all data, troubleshooting any discrepancies as they arise.
Qualifications and Experience
- Proven experience working as a Data Analyst, preferably within a digital marketing agency or a similar fast-paced environment.
- Strong proficiency with web analytics tools, particularly Google Analytics (GA4).
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets for data manipulation and analysis.
- Experience creating reports and dashboards using data visualisation tools such as Looker Studio (formerly Google Data Studio), Tableau, or Power BI.
- A solid understanding of digital marketing principles, including SEO, PPC, and lead generation.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills with an exceptional eye for detail.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to present complex information clearly and effectively.
- A degree in a quantitative field such as Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or Economics is desirable but not essential.
