So, what are you waiting for?

Tasks:

  • Review invoices received from suppliers.
  • Sort and code invoices, then enter invoice amounts into the accounting software.
  • Match invoices with receiving reports and purchase orders to ensure descriptions, quantities, and prices are accurate.
  • Prepare invoice payments, including processing electronic transfers and payments.
  • Print cheques and perform backups.
  • Communicate with suppliers and respond to their inquiries.
  • Follow up on credits and problematic invoices.
  • Generate various accounts payable reports.
  • Participate in any other related tasks required for the smooth operation of the department.
  • Provide support to the purchasing department.
  • Perform any other related duties as assigned.

Requirements:

  • Possess a DEC in administration or accounting and a minimum of one year of relevant experience or hold a DEP in accounting and a minimum of 3 years of experience in an accounts payable position.
  • Fluent in spoken and written French, with functional English skills to communicate effectively with the team approximately 30% of the time.
  • Fluent in Excel and Microsoft 365.
  • Knowledge of the functions of a general accounting system: Business central is an asset.

Salary: To be determined according to experience Schedule: Day shift, 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday - Full time Status : Permanent
