Position Overview
The IETS department is seeking an IETS Analyst to round out our growing team of talented individuals. This role involves learning opportunities through independent study, formal training, mentorship and on the job practice. The goal is for the IETS Analyst to develop the knowledge and skills to work autonomously within the IETS team, performing tasks as required.
District Overview
Kiewit Infrastructure Engineering’s Design-Build team is driving clients to turn to Kiewit during all stages of design-build projects. Through our integrated design and construction approach, our multi-disciplinary team works together to improve schedule, control costs, and minimize risk. Our construction-focused engineers work collaboratively with our estimators and builders to design solutions that are innovative, constructible, and designed with a focus on safety. Clients benefit from the proven processes and tools used by Kiewit to minimize project risk. We are an in-house resource that supports projects throughout the company. Our staff shares experiences gained, innovative concepts and best practices for all projects that we support.

Location
This position is within our Oakville office in Ontario, Canada and may include working remotely and may require travel as needed up to 25% of the time.
Responsibilities
Project
-
Review, learn, and apply the Systems Engineering processes as defined in the System Engineering Management Plans.
-
Configure Requirements Management Tool to support Project needs and monitor data inputs and metrics to help ensure compliance throughout the Project life cycle (Design, Construction, Testing etc.)
-
Develop a thorough understanding of Project requirements as they relate to scope, cost and schedule.

Prepare technical deliverables (specifications, interface control documents, verification reports) under the guidance of a Systems Engineering Manager’

Prepare dashboards and reports as needed to assist Project Management in monitoring compliance with Project requirements’

Review, learn, and apply Project Operating Procedures.

Assist in the development and updates of company Project Operating Procedures’
Corporate
- Review, learn, and apply Systems Engineering processes (ISO 29148, ISO 15288, INCOSE Handbook, etc.);
- Assist in Requirements Verification Traceability Matrix (RVTM) development, and general Requirements Management maintenance activities.
- Contribute towards integrative solutions between Company teams and/or other stakeholders to promote process improvements and consistency.
- Review, learn, and apply Company Standard Operating Procedures.
- Assist in the development and updates of Company Standard Operating Procedures.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree (or equivalent) – preferred.
- Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Excel or Smartsheet.
- Foundation knowledge of Systems Engineering fundamentals including V-model lifecycle.
- Dedication to learn and apply Requirements Management concepts and best practices.
- Ability to organize, plan, and execute with logical thinking.
- Ability to work independently and coordinate with multiple teams within the company.
- Must demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills, written and oral communication skills, and the ability to work in a team environment.
