The Project Manager leads cross-functional capital and process improvement projects across the Rutherglen site, overseeing scope, schedule, budget, and results.Key Responsibilities
- Lead multiple capital, process improvement, and NPI projects from initiation to closure.
- Develop project charters, schedules, risk registers, and communication plans.
- Manage budgets, vendor relationships, RFQs, commissioning, and start-up.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams and provide regular status updates.
- Ensure projects meet EHS standards and regulatory compliance.
- Use Lean/CI tools to drive improvements in safety, quality, delivery, and cost.
- Support documentation, training, and change management.
Minimum Qualifications - Diploma or Bachelor's in Engineering, Operations, Industrial Technology, or related field.
- 2-3 years of project management experience in manufacturing or industrial environments.
- Experience managing capital and process improvement projects.
- Strong skills in project scheduling tools (MS Project, Smartsheet).
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management.
Preferred Qualifications - PMP, CAPM, or PRINCE2 certification.
- Lean Six Sigma training or Green Belt.
- Experience in wood products or heavy manufacturing.
- Familiarity with ERP/MES systems.
Working Conditions - On-site role requiring frequent time in plant environment.
- Occasional evening/weekend work for commissioning or shutdowns.
Immediate Directives Include:

Serve as Project Manager for the Capitol vat repair initiative, a two‑phase engineering‑led project scheduled to begin in Spring 2026.

Lead planning efforts with the Chief Engineer for the Biomass Boiler controls upgrade and replacement Gas Boiler Project, with planning activities in 2026 and execution targeted for 2027.
