A career as a Senior Back-End Developer - Artificial Intelligence at National Bank means actively contributing to our digital and technological transformation. You will join the API team in the cards domain, a multidisciplinary team at the heart of the evolution of our digital services. Thanks to your expertise in Golang or Java, your experience in generative artificial intelligence, and your rigor in cloud backend development, you will have a concrete impact on our ability to deliver smart and innovative solutions.

Your job:

Develop and deploy value-added backend functions in an Agile Scrum environment:

• Participate in the introduction and integration of generative AI-driven development into our development cycle

• Create robust technological solutions based on RESTful APIs, microservices, and cloud architectures (AWS)

• Participate in unit testing, quality assurance, code optimization, and code reviews

• Contribute to a culture of collaboration, rigor, and continuous improvement

• Take part in supporting applications developed by the team according to the "you build it you run it" model.

Your team:

Within the API Cards sector, you are part of a team of 25 colleagues and report to the asset manager. Our team stands out for its expertise in software engineering, its spirit of innovation, its quality of delivery, its diversity, and its pleasant working atmosphere.

Prerequisites:

• Bachelor's degree or related diploma in IT or software engineering

• 5 years or more of experience in backend software development

• Proficiency in at least one programming language (Golang or Java), and REST/API and microservices environments

• Good knowledge of IT environments: cloud infrastructures (Azure, AWS, Google Cloud) and DevOps tools

• Proven skills with Github Copilot technologies and the VS Code editor. Knowledge of AWS Bedrock and Open AI is an asset.

• Concrete experience with agent-based artificial intelligence is an asset

• Solid understanding of software development processes (SDLC), Agile/Scrum methodologies, and DevOps practices

• Autonomy, collaboration, curiosity, and a sense of innovation.

Additional assets:

• Experience in generative AI-driven development or intelligent automation projects

• Contribution to open-source or community projects in artificial intelligence or backend

• Interest in popularizing and transferring knowledge in artificial intelligence to teams.
