Job Description:
The Project Coordinator works closely with the Project Manager to ensure the smooth execution of multifamily construction projects, from preconstruction estimates to on-site coordination. If you have a background in construction management, and a passion for organizing every detail from procurement to budget forecasting, we want to hear from you!

What you Will Do:
- Liaise with the Project Manager and all other technical disciplines involved
- Assist Project Manager with the overall management of multifamily construction projects.
Preconstruction
- Estimate cost and assess quantity take off
- Prepare bid documents and clear and concise scopes of work
- Prequalify vendors and subcontractors
- Maintain project cost database.
Procurement
- Develop project bid list and subcontractor notice to proceed
- Analyze contract documents and proposed subcontractor selections
- Conduct review and cost analysis of material purchase.
Construction Coordination
- Update project estimate based on review of 30/60/90 percent drawings
- Draft subcontracts
- Manage change, quantify orders, and subcontractor invoices
- Maintain budgets and cost forecasts
- Participate in post project review with key project personnel.
What You Will Bring:
- Minimum 2 years of construction related experience, a portion of which was directly involved in project coordination.
- Diploma, or BSc Degree in Engineering, Construction Coordination or related field is an asset
- Previous experience overseeing multifamily projects is an asset
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft Applications- eg Excel, Outlook.
- Proficiency in reading construction drawings.
Salary Range:
$66,500 CAD to $85,000 CAD
