About the role
Duties:
- Safely operate a commercial motor vehicle to transport goods and materials to designated locations in CITY
- Follow all traffic laws and regulations, as well as company policies and procedures
- Load and unload cargo using appropriate equipment, such as forklifts or pallet jacks
- Inspect vehicles for mechanical issues and perform basic automotive repairs as needed
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, and fuel consumption
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers, customers, and other team members
Requirements:
- Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with appropriate endorsements
- Clean driving record with no major violations or accidents in the past three years
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a truck driver is must
- Ability to pass a pre-employment drug test and background check
- Strong knowledge of automotive repair and maintenance
- Familiarity with freight transportation regulations and procedures
- Proficiency in operating forklifts and other loading/unloading equipment
