AI Application Developer: On behalf of our Education client, Procom is searching for an AI Application Developer for a contract role. This position is a hybrid position with 2 days onsite at our client’s Edmonton office.

AI Application Developer - Job Description: The project involves developing an Agentic AI–enabled Facilities Maintenance Assistant to support maintenance planning and operational decision-making. The AI application will be integrated with the University's CMMS (AiM) system to enhance facilities management processes.

AI Application Developer - Responsibilities:

• Design an Agentic AI architecture for a maintenance assistant
• Prepare and structure facilities and maintenance data
• Develop an AI assistant for maintenance planning and recommendations
• Integrate the AI application with CMMS (AiM) through APIs
• Support testing, refinement, and documentation

AI Application Developer - Mandatory Skills:

• Experience developing AI / Generative AI applications
• Experience with Agentic AI and RAG architectures
• Experience integrating with enterprise systems via APIs
• Knowledge in data analysis
• Legally entitled to work in Canada without sponsorship
• Successfully pass comprehensive security and background checks

AI Application Developer – Nice-to-Have Skills:

• CMMS or Facilities Management system experience
• Computer Sciences / Software Engineering master's degree preferred
• University of Alberta graduate preferred

AI Application Developer – Assignment Length: This is a contract position expected to last until the completion of the project.
