About the role

Eaton is currently seeking a Regional Manufacturing Administrator to join the team. This role can be based at either our Delta, BC or Calgary, AB sites.

The Calgary, Alberta site is a strategic site designed to support our larger manufacturing facilities and dedicated to meeting local market requirements, ensuring that we can effectively serve our customers. The expected annual salary range for this role is $54063.0 - $79292.4 a year. This position is also eligible for a variable incentive program.

What You’ll Do The Regional Administrator is responsible for supporting multiple Satellite plants by performing a variety of administrative and key support-related duties. This role is located at one of our Eaton Satellite locations (6 in total), which are located across Canada and comprise of smaller assemble-to-order facilities and complement our medium to large manufacturing facilities within Canada.

Essential Functions Include Facilities & Office Management – Receive & direct local incoming calls and visitors, ensuring all safety requirements are fulfilled. Maintain assigned facilities CHUBB access control & phone system admin. Establish, monitor and evaluate facility services (e.g., working license, janitorial, vending, kitchen consumables). Maintain office equipment. Arrange trades & document building maintenance (preventative & reactive) & inspections (forklifts, air compressors, cranes, first aid, fire extinguishers, cleaning, plumbing, electrical, etc.). Coordinate incoming and outgoing mail and courier requirements.

Administrative & Operational Support – Prepare and distribute operational reports on a monthly and as-needed basis. Completed job folder scanning and e-filing. Manage office event calendars and meeting rooms. Maintain and ensure integrity of the regional vacation database. Support payroll reimbursement requests and overtime payroll submission process. Coordinate facility accounts payables and submit to Burlington in a timely manner. Establish payment procedures for indirect facility services using Eaton-approved methods.

Communication & Coordination – Prepare, share and post local site communications and organize translation services, if necessary. Assist site leaders with planning for meetings, training programs, tours, seminars, travel arrangements, meals, employee-related events and activities, and award and recognition programs.

Employee Engagement & Culture – Support and help organize site engagement and team building events at assigned facilities. Fosters an environment that promotes Eaton’s goals, philosophies, and encourages continuous improvement through participation and teamwork of the Joint Health & Safety Committee.

Continuous Improvement – Assist with cost-savings projects.

Qualifications Required (Basic) Qualifications:

  • Post secondary diploma or degree from an accredited institution
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in an administrative function
  • Experience using Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint
  • No relocation provided. Candidates must reside within 80 kilometers of either Calgary, Alberta or Delta, British Columbia to be considered.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in Canada without company sponsorship now and in the future.
