CIDEL WEALTH CONSULTANT – LATAM SALES TEAM
Job profile (Oct 2025)
Sources, develops, and manages client relationships with high net worth and ultra-high net worth
individuals and families across Cidel’s key markets in Latin America, namely Mexico, Colombia, and
Central America. Provides integrated financial services advice to these clients, including asset
management, trust and estate planning, and liquidity-based lending. Manages overall relationships
with access to the Cidel team for support. Our Wealth Consultants deliver customized financial
solutions to target individuals and families, professional service firms, and endowments and
foundations.

Role Overview
• Develop new relationships externally through sourcing leads, referrals from clients and COIs,
and personal community involvement in the assigned geographies.
• Profile the full range of target client needs and provide tailored advice in collaboration with
the investment team and other internal and external partners.
• Utilize planning capabilities and develop solutions across investments, trust and wealth
transfer, and other appropriate services.
• Identify additional opportunities from existing clients you service and leverage all resources
and colleagues to successfully become the client’s sole or lead provider.
• Manage relationships by leading regular reviews with clients.
• Deliver a high degree of personal contact and open communication among clients and the internal
team to create a superior client experience. Proactively communicate with clients about current
conditions in the financial markets and necessary adjustments to their investment strategies and
holdings, aligned with the views of Cidel’s team.
• Monitor clients’ ongoing financial and personal circumstances to make adjustments or take action
accordingly. Ensure that goals, risk tolerance, and any unique constraints are reflected in
clients’ investment policies.
• Attend internal and third-party sessions to maintain a high level of knowledge in matters
related to your target clients.
• Demonstrate a disposition to work in an entrepreneurial environment based on a pay-for-
performance principle, with an emphasis on a longer-term career as a client relationship manager.
Growing and developing within the role is critical.
Required Qualifications & Experience
• University degree and 7 to 12 years of relevant client acquisition and management experience in
financial services. Ideally, experience working with HNW clients is part of your background. MBA or
MFin degree is an asset.
• Candidates with similar tenure in accounting or legal services and seeking a career change are
welcome to express interest.
• Canadian Securities Course. Preferably CIM or CFA.
• Additional consideration for CFP, FEA, additional degrees or designations, and relevant
international work experience.
• Spanish as a native language and high proficiency in professional communication in both Spanish
and English.
• Flexibility for constant travel on a monthly basis to the assigned markets is required for this
position.
Skills and Knowledge
• Understanding of products and services applicable to high-net-worth clients.
• Demonstrated presentation building, sales, and marketing abilities.
• Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
• Ability to initiate relationships with clients whose needs require a consistently strong
performer with in-depth product knowledge and excellent communication skills.
• Contributes positive suggestions and demonstrates productive collaboration with internal
partners.
• Immediate access to a current network of leads, tax or accounting professionals in key
geographies for Cidel.
