Your new role As the HVAC Operations Manager, you will be responsible for leading the day-to-day operations of a busy field service business, ensuring work is executed safely, efficiently, and profitably. You will oversee operational planning, resource allocation, workflow management, and team performance while driving continuous improvement across service delivery functions. Working closely with leadership and internal stakeholders, you will ensure labour, materials, equipment, and scheduling requirements are aligned to support business objectives and customer commitments. You will be a key driver of operational performance, monitoring productivity, efficiency, profitability, and service quality while identifying opportunities to streamline processes and improve overall branch performance. This role requires a strong operational leader who can balance people management, customer expectations, and business priorities in a fast-paced environment. You will provide leadership to a diverse operational team, develop efficient workflows, support inventory and materials management, and foster a culture centered around accountability, collaboration, and service excellence.
What you'll need to succeed The successful candidate will bring several years of operations leadership experience within a service, construction, industrial, mechanical, manufacturing, or technical environment. You have demonstrated success leading teams, managing operational performance, and driving continuous improvement initiatives. Strong experience with workforce planning, scheduling, logistics, inventory management, budgeting, and KPI reporting is essential. You are a proactive leader with excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills who thrives in a dynamic operational setting. Experience supporting field-based service teams and managing multiple priorities simultaneously will be highly valued.
