Hiring: Service Advisor
We Are Recruiting a Full-Time Automotive Service Advisor
Glenoak Ford requires a results-oriented Service Advisor to join our quality team. This is a full-time, union position located in our brand new, state-of-the-art facility in Langford, BC.
Principal Duties:
- Manages customer requests for maintenance and repairs;
- Provides excellent customer service;
- Writes repair orders;
- Communicates with customers about the status of work;
- Collects payment for services, accurately handling cash and credit payments;
- Sells additional services, including parts and accessories where appropriate.

Position Requirements (minimum experience):
- Previous customer service experience required;
- Previous experience in automotive service environment is an asset but not required;
- General knowledge of parts and basic automotive repair procedures preferred;
- Valid class 5 driver’s license required;
- Intermediate computer skills required;
- Excellent phone manner required;
- Critical thinking and problem solving skills required;
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
